Oak Bay Thin Stone Veneer Story For this Tudor home in Oak Bay, Victoria, BC, Lennox Masonry was tasked with creating a new look for the front of the house, including the entryway. The most cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing option was to create a scratch coat overtop of the stucco and apply a thin stone veneer. So that is exactly what we did! We utilized a combination of K2 Stone's KV Granite & Tofino Sky stone veneer which is quarried right here on Vancouver Island. From the stone selection, we cut down uniform pieces to install a stone trim around the windows and archways. We then installed stone sills underneath the main window, as well as concrete sills beneath the gable and entryway window.

Students of Camosun College' Women In Trades Program were educated on stonemasonry tools, the history of the Government House, the history of the trade itself, mortars, and the proper way to restore and preserve these buildings.
